Manual Handling Risk AssessmentsLifting Correctly

What does the law require?
If your employees regularly lift, move or handle loads or if they carry out repetitive moving and handling tasks then they may be at risk of injury or long-term ill health. As an employer you must carry out a Manual Handling Risk Assessment of every activity to determine if the employee, including temporary employees, is at risk and if so put into place systems to reduce the risk. Failure to carry out a suitable assessment can lead to prosecution and/or civil action.

We can carry out your Manual Handling Risk Assessments for you.
One of our qualified Manual Handling Risk Assessors will visit your premises and carry out the assessments with you. The number of days required depends on the number of different manual handling activities. Call Diane to discuss your requirements.
